Nancy S. Ervin, MBA, is a
business consultant specializing in agriculture. She joined the firm in 1999 after earning her Master of
Business Administration degree from the University of San Diego with an
emphasis in cost management. She
also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from California State
University, Stanislaus and an Associate’s degree in Agribusiness from
Modesto Junior College.
Nancy was raised on a small family farm in
Northern California and worked in both production and service ag
businesses since 1984, including field
and row crop accounting, livestock
operations, and the grain
industry. She has served
as the vice-president of the Nevada Cattlewomen’s Association as well as
president of the Los Angeles Grain Exchange.
Since joining the firm, she has assisted ag
clients with budget development, software transitions, cost
analysis, strategic planning, and personnel
issues. Her expertise
ranges from very complicated spreadsheet
development to fundamental operational
reviews. In addition, she
is currently seeking accreditation as a Certified Business Appraiser so
that she can better assist clients with business
valuations, whether it is for estate planning, gifting, divorce,
purchase, sale or litigation.
